Adios Amigos...

What a fun year it has been so far!!! I am happy and sad at the same time- sad to be leaving you all but happy to start this new adventure! I hope you all have a wonderful time with Mme Jenkinson and Mme Menard! Remember to help them out, be respectful, and teach them about all the ways you are smart! Here are the lat of the photos we took together of our last weeks! I will cherish all the memories but skip to the bottom after the pictures for my TOP 10 from this year!

10. Picking you up from downstairs with the 'queen' wave out the door.

9. Dress up days- any chance to look crazy with you!

8. Pack your BOOKBAGS!- teaching you all the East Coast terms while you taught me the Manitoba ways.

7. There are NO MISTAKES in Art- except for that one time it went really bad and we all cried..oops.

6. Reading a juicy chapter and leaving you hanging until the next one! DUN DUN DUNNNNN

5. Go Noodle- I didn't realize how many dancers were in this class until I saw all the sweet dance moves you have! Keep on shaking to the beat :)

4. Chocolate. That is all.

Two Week Wonders

These two weeks were crazy, but fun! We did persuasive writing, and which is better, Chocolate or Vanilla? M. Gomes and Mme Sawyer came to judge who presented the best argument....the winner was vanilla!

The grade 3's started swimming last week. It was very fun! We wished Mme Janes could come watch us, but M. Gomes took some pictures of us!

The grade 4's stayed back and did fractions! It was also fun and we talked a lot about food, like pizza and chocolate bars.

I Love to Read Month was a success! Mucsh Upon a Time was really cool. We had pyjama day, and beach day!  In math we had centres and worked in each one for a little bit of time!

Dear Parents, you have homework! ( Well you have to do it with me- your child!) Please comment below which you think is better, chocolate or vanilla, and WHY??! Don't forget to make a good argument for it.

Fun Days and Silly Weeks...

Dear Blog,

It has been awhile. Sorry we forgot about you, but we have lots to update you on!

Here are some new pictures of what we have been doing. We don't usually wear our PJ's to school, but we wish we could everyday!

This month is I LOVE TO READ month and last Friday was Wacky Word Day. It took a lot of brains to add up all the words we wore. Mme Janes had the most with 362! We had 829 words altogether as a class! In Science, we have been learning about habitats. In Social studies, we learned the provinces, territories and capitals of Canada. Soon we will explore the different regions of Canada

For our Art project, we learned about 'value' ( I can tell you what that is Mom and Dad!). They are up on our board if you want to see them :)
